About Us

Hello, we are Jim & Dawn Ziarkowski, owners of K9 Country Club. We are a full-service dog boarding facility located in Waukesha, WI that serves Waukesha, New Berlin, Brookfield, Mukwonago and surrounding areas. Founded in 2017, K9 Country Club specializes in dog boarding and offers a variety of services that are tailored to your dog’s needs. We grew up with dogs and understand the importance of your furry family member! We have shared our dog enthusiasm for over 25 years and have significant experience with a lot of breeds to include German Shepherd, Malinois, Caucasian Shepherd, Czechoslovakian Vlcak (wolfdog), and many more. Our love and understanding of dogs made us a perfect fit to be kennel owners and we have 6 furry children of our own! Our goal is to make your dog feel at home through individual attention and love for each guest.

Our Services include:

Full-service dog boarding & daycare facility with heated & air conditioned inside accommodations and fenced outside pens for outdoor enjoyment. Our guests enjoy personal playtime with multiple grassy areas for activities. We do not offer group play but allow dogs from same family to play together. We allow un-neutered males/un-spayed females. We offer dog training for the everyday dog from puppies to adult ages. Check-In and Check-Out are by appointment ONLY. I recently some family medical emergencies. during this time i was not available to take care of mu pup. I called Jim and spoke to him about my situation and he worked me to get my pup( Zoey ) out by him and take care of her while i dealt with he issues I had. During the time I was away, Jim and Dawn kept in contact with me to let me know that Zoey was taken care of and there was nothing to worry about with Zoey. K9 Country Club owners are an incredible pair who know, understand and care for dogs as their own family. Before accepting a high travel position five years ago, I needed to find a kennel I could trust with my Akita. I was immediately put at ease. My dog didn’t want to leave when I picked him up after his first week-long stay. It was then I knew I had chose the right place. My dog used to spend up to 18 overnights a month there and I never once needed to worry. You can provide your pet insurance information and a care credit card in case of an emergency. Jim and Dawn have a deep knowledge of dogs of all sizes, and are able to care for dogs other dog daycares won’t. They are able to administer medicines including injections and other scheduled medication. Jim and Dawn are trusted by K9 police officers, so you can rest easy knowing that your furry family member is in great hands. Though I don’t travel for work as I used to, I still take my dog to see Jim every other week to make sure my fur baby always feels comfortable during his stays. I highly recommend K9 Country Club for dog boarding!
