Hello, we are Jim & Dawn Ziarkowski, owners of K9 Country Club. We are a full-service dog boarding facility located in Waukesha, WI that serves Waukesha, New Berlin, Brookfield, Mukwonago and surrounding areas. Founded in 2017, K9 Country Club specializes in dog boarding and offers a variety of services that are tailored to your dog’s needs. We grew up with dogs and understand the importance of your furry family member! We have shared our dog enthusiasm for over 25 years and have significant experience with a lot of breeds to include German Shepherd, Malinois, Caucasian Shepherd, Czechoslovakian Vlcak (wolfdog), and many more. Our love and understanding of dogs made us a perfect fit to be kennel owners and we have 6 furry children of our own! Our goal is to make your dog feel at home through individual attention and love for each guest.

We had a vacation to Florida planned August 1-9th. 2 days before we were scheduled to leave our dog sitter backed out and we nearly had to cancel our trip, especially with 2 German Shepards, one being on the elderly side and the other being as some say “reactive”. The way that Jim and his wife at K9 Country Club called and said they wanted to help me literally made this happen. He told me ways I could improve myself to improve my dogs bad behavior and once we arrived back for pick up, I was stopped in my tracks to see Jim outside playing with BOTH dogs, the one in which had to arrive with caution because strangers aren’t his friends. I can go on for days of what they did for me, these aren’t my dogs they’re my kids and I will never hesitate again to be dropping them off at K9 Country Club. Thank you K9 Country Club.

I recently boarded my dog, Atlas, here while I was on a vacation to Alaska. I felt totally comfortable and relaxed knowing he was in good hands. The staff was professional and the facility was clean and well kept. Atlas is very high energy, 10 month old puppy, and I appreciated that they were able to accommodate that. When I picked him up, he was happy, excited, and clearly comfortable with his time there. I wouldn’t hesitate to bring him back next time I travel.
